Yes, it is difficult time and pain for all of us. All of us
means all of us.
Everybody is running to banks and post offices and standing
in never ending Q’s to turn their White money into White money. Yes hard earned
white money. And how to get daily
consumable goods.
And the irony is that the pain is in a way connected to
money you have. Who would have imagine
the less the money the less is pain. The more the money pain is more. It has
become correlated.
But it is still hard earned money for all of us except
criminals, politicians and very Big
Fishes.
We have heard folklores from our parents or elders or read about
the stories how country men and women made sacrifices in 1965 and 1971 wars.
Now it’s our time because surgical strike against black
money is a war of different kind.
It will discipline us. We have taken our Govts for granted since ages. And each one of us is
guilty. We somehow find shortcuts.
Recently, I had an accident and fractured my left hand.
Doctor plastered it and gave some precautions and instructions to what not to
do. Did I have the gumption to refute him? उसकी बला से (read Doctor) . What would be my response
to him? That this will be inconvenient to me,. He would have thrown me out and
said F$$K OFF.
Lastly , I would appeal to Modi Sarkar to ease filing of returns
and fear of harassment and bring down income tax rates so that more and more
people voluntarily and happily come into tax regime .
